Do I own Qlumy after subscribing?

No. Subscribing gives you licensed access to the Qlumy service while your subscription is active. It does not transfer ownership of Qlumy, Qlumy characters, assets, software, prompts, voice systems, branding, or intellectual property.

Is this a license or a purchase?

Qlumy is a subscription-based license, not a purchase of the platform or character assets. The checkout email becomes the license owner email for that account.

Can I upload my own character image?

No. Standard Qlumy subscriptions do not include customer character uploads, uploaded image processing, custom avatar creation, or customer-owned character modification.

Can Qlumy modify, clone, or redesign my character?

No. Qlumy does not create, modify, clone, redesign, or generate customer-owned characters. Qlumy provides licensed access to the Qlumy service only.

Can I use Qlumy commercially?

Standard Qlumy personal/family monthly plans are for private personal, household, or family use only. Commercial use, resale, redistribution, company deployment, school deployment, clinic use, kiosk use, or public venue use requires separate written authorization from Techtegy/Qlumy.

Can a school, business, clinic, or kiosk use Qlumy?

Not under the standard personal/family plans. Organizations, schools, clinics, businesses, public venues, kiosks, or paid services require separate written authorization.

What happens if I cancel?

Canceling stops future renewal according to the billing process and timing shown in your customer account or Stripe billing portal. Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable after purchase unless otherwise required by applicable law or a written Qlumy policy.

Who controls child use?

The adult account owner, parent, or legal guardian controls child use and is responsible for setup, payment, activation, parent controls, safety settings, blocked topics, allowed topics, memory permissions, session limits, and household/family compliance. Qlumy does not replace adult supervision.

Is Qlumy a therapist, tutor, doctor, lawyer, or emergency service?

No. Qlumy is not a therapist, doctor, medical provider, lawyer, financial advisor, emergency service, certified tutor, certified teacher, school, clinic, or substitute for a parent/guardian. For emergencies, contact local emergency services. For medical, legal, mental-health, financial, educational, or safety decisions, contact a qualified professional.

What data is stored?

Qlumy may store information needed to operate the account, subscription, setup, parent controls, support, safety settings, usage, and limited personalization. This may include account email, plan selection, monthly usage, setup preferences, parent-control settings, demo details, support requests, and billing status references. Payment card management should be handled through Stripe’s secure billing portal.

How can I request data deletion or memory disablement?

Account owners or parents/guardians may contact privacy@qlumy.com or support@qlumy.com to request data review, correction, memory disablement, memory deletion, demo-data deletion, or account closure review.
